What is a firm performance dashboard?
A firm performance dashboard is a single live view of the numbers an owner would otherwise have to ask around for — calls answered, leads followed up, jobs booked, invoices out — pulled directly from the systems that generate them. Its purpose is answering "how's the business doing right now" without a phone call or a status meeting.
The distinguishing feature isn't the visuals, it's the source: a dashboard fed by hand-typed numbers is really just a slower spreadsheet with a nicer layout. A dashboard fed directly from the phone log, the booking calendar, and the invoicing system stays accurate without anyone remembering to update it.
