Cancellation Policy

Effective

Momentum is month-to-month. There is no contract, no minimum term, no notice period, and no exit fee. Cancel whenever you want, and your account stays fully live until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for.

This page explains how to do it, what happens next, and what to sort out before you go.

How to cancel

Email hello@ariostech.ca from the address on your account, with "Cancel subscription" in the subject line. Include your business name and your Momentum account name. Tell us why if you feel like it — we read every one — but you do not have to.

We will acknowledge within 1–2 business days and send you a written confirmation with your effective cancellation date. If you do not hear from us in 2 business days, email again or reach us through ariostech.ca/contact. A cancellation request we failed to answer is still a cancellation request, and the date we go by is the date you sent it.

When it takes effect

Your subscription stops renewing immediately, and your access continues to the end of the current billing cycle. You are not charged again after that.

There is no notice period. If you cancel on day 3 of a monthly cycle, you keep the platform for the remaining 27 days you have already paid for, and no further payment is taken. If you cancel on the last day of a cycle, it ends that day.

We do not prorate or refund a partly used month after the first 30 days. You are not being charged for time you will not use — you are keeping the time you already bought.

If you are inside your first 30 days as a new customer, cancelling may also entitle you to your subscription fee back. That is covered by the Refund Policy, including the conditions attached to it.

Sort these out before your cancellation date

Export your data. Contacts, custom fields, opportunities, appointments, form submissions, and your media library can all be exported from inside your account. Do it before the account closes, not after.

Port your phone numbers. If you want to keep a number, start the port with your new provider before your cancellation date. A number released on cancellation goes back to the carrier pool and can be reassigned to someone else — once that happens, nobody can get it back.

Rebuild what does not export. Funnels, websites, workflows, automations, and templates are platform-native and only exist inside GoHighLevel. Section 9 of the Terms of Use explains this in full, including the sub-account transfer options if you are moving to another GoHighLevel agency rather than off the platform.

Point your domains somewhere else. Any custom domain or subdomain aimed at a Momentum funnel or site needs a new destination, or it will stop resolving.

Spend down your balance. Remaining prepaid balance and messaging credits are forfeited on cancellation and have no cash value.

What happens to your data

Your account and its data are retained for 30 days after your cancellation takes effect. Within that window you can reactivate and pick up where you left off, or ask us to run an export for you.

After 30 days the account and everything in it are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered — not by us, not by the platform, not by support. Assume the 30 days is real.

If you need longer than that, park the account instead of closing it.

Billing records and invoices are kept for seven years regardless, because Canadian tax law requires it. The Privacy Policy covers retention in full.

Parking your account

If you are pausing your business, going seasonal, or just need more than 30 days to decide, you can park the account instead of cancelling it. Your data stays exactly where it is for up to 6 months.

While parked, you and your team cannot log in, nothing sends, and no automations run. Phone numbers on the account are retained and their monthly rental continues. To restart, email us and we will unpark it, usually the same business day.

Parking costs $47 CAD per month. If the parking period reaches 6 months without you reactivating or cancelling, the account returns to your original plan and normal billing resumes — and we will email you before that happens, not after. Phone number rentals are billed on top of the parking fee, as noted above.

To park an account, email hello@ariostech.ca with "Park my account" in the subject line, and include your business name, your account name, and how long you want it parked.

Downgrading instead of cancelling

If the plan is more than you need but the platform is not the problem, downgrade rather than cancel. You keep everything — contacts, funnels, workflows, history — at a lower monthly rate and a smaller feature set.

Email hello@ariostech.ca and we will walk you through which plan fits. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, with no proration for the current one, because that is how plan changes work on the underlying platform. Features belonging to the higher plan stop being available on the changeover date.

Usage charges after cancellation

Telephony, messaging, and AI usage is metered and billed as it happens, drawn from your prepaid balance. Any usage incurred up to your cancellation date is yours to cover, and any outstanding balance remains payable.

Remaining prepaid credit and any unused signup credit are not refunded in cash. See the Refund Policy.

If we cancel your account

We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, for a breach of the acceptable use or messaging obligations in the Terms of Use, or where the law or the underlying platform requires it. Except where the breach is serious or we have no choice, we will tell you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix it.

Where we close an account for a breach, no refund is due. The 30-day data retention window still applies from the closure date, so you can still get your data out.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be emailed to the address on your account and posted here before they take effect. The version that applies to your cancellation is the one published on the day you cancel.
